Last week, Cabin Creek Health premiered a new short film that profiles its medication assisted treatment program. The film spotlights 4 patients who bravely share their stories as well as as a trio of doctors and staff who discuss the nature of addiction, the structure of the program, and the healing power of compassion.

We premiered the 18 minute documentary at The Floralee Hark Cohen Cinema, Charleston’s iconic downtown independent theatre.

We filled the small theatre and had a number of special guests including two WV Delegates, a WV Senator, a Charleston City Councilor, and a fleet of community members who are committed to helping our area heal. We were also fortunate to have most of the “cast” present for a deep and engaging Q&A session that followed the film.

We now have the film up on Youtube where you can watch it anytime:

If you’d like to arrange a screening at your work, recovery meeting, or next conference, please get in touch! We’d be happy to assist!

Major thanks to Advantage Business Connection and Adam Hager Productions for leading the work to realize this film. And thank you Erica, Bailey, Shane, and John for generously sharing your stories and letting us catch glimpses into your world and families. We believe your stories will continue to move hearts and minds.
